choices of how to write the paper
In the essay written by Safiya I can see shes taking her points and views consisting on the Tachyon part of the ARG. She makes Tachyon look like a hero fighting against evil which in this case is OpAhid. Safiya makes her seem like a spy or "James Bond" like character, reporting all her information to the head quaters this being the "YouTube" bloggers. She also makes Tachyon seem like a mystery to all the viewers a person without a past, a simple somebody who is there but at the same time isn't. Safiya chose to make this paper similar to an autobiography of Tachyon to make people understand that besides the main characters Bree, Daniel, and Jonas, there are others fighting this battle against Opahid and they are making a difference.
Audience- tried to be as discriptive as possible
Put out her personal point of view
Went the episode that best explains her essay
Criticism: Should've talked a little more about the main characters of LG15 to make the reader understand why they need her help.

Who Can You Trust?
In the world “Lonelygirl15” it seems impossible to trust anyone. But how can one blame them, being lied to by almost everyone, from old friends to even parents and family. Trust is a way for people to build a relationship with one another; people can’t be friends unless they have trust in one another. In the case of trust for the characters in LG15, they need the help of the devoted viewers to figure who is trustworthy. It can make one become extremely paranoid, and take steps to drastic measures.
How can one blame Bree for acting the way she did towards Jonas? Well, this is the same person who told them in when they were roaming the streets and were eating out of the trash, this shouldn’t be his reward for that act of kindness. Even though Bree thought it was the right thing to do, Daniel thought different. When hearing what Bree had done to their host he quickly went to make things clear and try to help Jonas. The conversation that went on between Jonas and Daniel was intense. The way one was able to tell how angry and insulted Jonas was from even being compared to the Order. The chairing was shaking in anger as the conversation went on, the yelling and power that was coming out of Jonas put up a great case. Seeing Jonas strapped to a chair in his very own house made Daniel realize that Bree was really going crazy. The tone and language that went on throughout that conversation was powerful, as if Jonas was begging to be believed for who he really is. But to Bree the evidence was too strong. Daniel kept on contemplating in his mind whether or not to let Jonas free, and what affect and harm in would it put on his relationship with Bree.
While viewing this episode one can truly see that the tears that come down from Jonas’s face along with the fury expressed in his voice seems all too real. Which makes one wonder has Bree gone insane, taking her friend hostage, or is she just playing the game the smart way? Jonas took them in when they had nowhere to go literally nowhere, was it an act of kindness and hospitality or a trap? The fact that before this act of craziness Jonas was there for Bree when it came to rescuing Daniel, and helping her out when her father was killed by “The Order”. Bree needs to remember Jonas was running away from the order as well, and has just as much fear in them as she does.
The ARG or Alternate Reality Gaming in this Episode holds so much information towards the episodes to come, which most viewers helped write the storyline for. The ARG is the new wave to the future of media how else can a TV show get so many viewers pleased and interested than by getting their thoughts and ideas put up in front of them and preformed by their favorite characters. This time around the media is in the hands of the viewers and it couldn’t get any better. The people are starting to get more control than ever, the future is held on their opinions. But how long will this last for can this be a phase or an age that will evolve to greater lengths.

Little films and new media being marketed
The form of this new media is both a new form of both cinema and Television. The “YouTube” media is a new way for people to watch television, by giving people a chance to see new faces and new ideas. The new websites, which offer us actual Hollywood movies to watch from our computer at any time possible also show a new way to watch and enjoy cinema. Both cinema and television are finding new advancements to be distributed, and also be create.
It is true that the perks of the film market is the comfort of being able to watch the film at a time that is best for you. However, television today is also like that. With new technologies such as Tivo and DVR you can watch your favorite television show whenever you want. Elaina
I am not quite sure how seeing new faces and new ideas is likened to the idea of television more than cinema. This idea can be likened to Cinema also. Jen
I wish that you showed more ways that YouTube is a new way to watch television, because I don’t believe that “giving people a chance to see new faces and new ideas” is a good argument for these videos to be likened to television. I do like that you showed how new websites are broadening the way we watch videos. Matt
I agree with you with these video show new face to views. Like LG15, she pretty close to Hollywood movie star because her video are fake, lots of people wish can see her in the threater. Ling

When reading or listening to someone who has authority in that knowledge?
Qualities in which can be expressed as being an expert in a certain field can be with age, strict knowledge of the field, and with experience. A person who I think has authority is my film teacher Rachel Lyon who has creates many documentaries and has produced many as well. So when she teaches our class about the production of the film and how get your film out there, I play my utmost attention to everyone she says and believe that what she says will happen. I think I have authority when it comes to editing movies, I have been doing it for the past 4 years even before the “YouTube” era. And seeing my audience’s reactions help me realize that.

Lonely Girl 15 starts off by showing the audience that the star of the show Bree is a typical 15-year-old girl or so it seems. The viewer may enjoy the show by thinking that she seems to relate to her, but as time goes on Brees personality and conflicts start to shift away. Through the past 30 episodes we have seen Bree go from typical sweet innocent girl, to rebel, and drama. The transition occurs as more conflicts begin to happen with in her life whether it’s with her parents, or with Daniel. Near the end of the first 30 episodes Bree starts to realize there’s more to being a teenager then obeying her parents and talking to a purple monkey. She realizes the partying part of teenagers, and she can’t get enough of it, and is upset she was missing out on it.

Part 1: Through this past year there has been a new type of social interactions called avatar sites. One may think this happens to be the biggest news of 2006, but how can one even imagine all the new developments of technology that has occurred this year.
Part 2: What does it take for the entire society to care?
In todays culture people care mostly about being entertained, in order for one to care or be aware about either a disease or war. You must catch their attention of the people or have it relate to them, cause basically people care about how it affects them as well.
Part3: Who is "You"
"You" happens to be all people who are connected through this one common interest. Though we all may have different backgrounds, and different interests we still find one common interest that keeps us together.

In the past inorder to have a social life one would have to leave the house. But now one can just sit at home on the computer and obtain the same social life. The avatars are a way for one to either talk to friends without leaving the house, make new friends, or reconnect with old ones. I for instance use my avatar "Facebook" to talk to my friends who are in Israel for the year. One may think of an avatar as a way to be represented 24/7, so that could why people put alot of time into making it the best it could be. The down side to the avatar sites is with so many people on these networks one can't know who's looking at their profile.

In the article written by Time Magazine, it tries to show how the future can't only be affected by the powerful and famous, but by everyday people also. Thanks to technology one may be able to speakout to others around the world whether its through motion or text.
This article shows how even with all the out breaks of war and scare in 2006, people were occupying themselves in other things, for instance the new developments of the internet. By using such networks as wikipedia and my space people are finding new ways to live their lives, which may very well help in the future.

Artist:
Max Weber was born in Europe and immigrated to America, he studied art at the Pratt Institute. Then went on to study modernism and cubism from Pablo Picasso and Henri Rousseau.
Painting:
Blue New York- In this painting Weber is trying to show the changes that are occurring in New York City at the time (1910). To me it looks like he’s expressing his feelings about New York City and the sizes of the buildings and even with a clear blue sky people can’t see them or understand what they stand for. Or he might be showing the evolution of New York City by showing all the different stages of buildings. But what I notice most was the black triangle where the sun is supposed to be, which shows how dark the city is.

Editorial Assignment #1
Nicole’s summary on the article written by Time magazine which spoke about the "Person of Year" was summarized very distinct, she put in all the main points of the article and went into depth with it. What I noticed was she stuck to the topic about avatars and you tube but didn’t really go into one of the main topics of the article, which was how one is able to communicate and interact via web from all around the world. She was very accurate about Web 2.0 and about how the article emphasized on ordinary people. However she didn’t really explain into detail what an avatar was or how it could be operated. Otherwise this summary explained what the article was about.
Safety comes first is what was brought up in Nicole’s argument about the article. She wrote how even with these new technologies there should still be someone or something protecting people from predators and profanitiesonline. Her opinion on this issue is very resourceful she puts in great points, she also puts in actually incidents where such actions have occurred. I have been aware of this problem before, however she puts into greater detail and makes me realize the dangers of avatars for young adults. She also supports her thesis very well and puts in proofs to interact with her argument.
Nicole is a person who seems out going, she pushes herself out side box and wants to accomplish great goals. Such as going to law school, moving out of her hometown to a much farther area. I don’t know why but to me people who ski seem like out goers since it takes skill and courage to go down a mountain let alone go down at such a high speed. By her taste of music I can also tell that she likes to go out a lot and sing and dance. By seeing that she’s not too into movies even though she works in "Blockbuster" and doesn’t watch TV shows that she might think of them as a waste of time when she can do something more productive. she also talks about her mother as her best friend which shows how big a family person she really is.

In the piece of music we ( Subjective) heard in class, there were many different sounds, it started off with a man making a speech a different language, and then the tape was stopped (Evaluation) and was rewound (Evaluation), and then it became scratchy( Critique), and then everything began to seem as if it were being warped( Critique). Then it paused (Evaluation) and it began to sound as if raindrops were falling or a piano was being played and then it came to an end.
